The plants in the native gardens at Botanical Belonging are beginning to mature, and early blooming plants are attracting bees, butterflies and other wonderful pollinators! Now is the time to identify and control those plants, while important to the garden, want to move beyond the confines of the garden design. These rhyzominous plants can take over a garden if not controlled. Identifying and removing (and possibly moving!) these more aggressive plants is a big part of native garden maintenance. Learn to identify these plants, as well as other early blooming native plants that are critical to our pollinators during our May Hands-On Learning days.
